Artist statement

I am Aurembiaix Sabaté, a visual and fine artist.

My work emerges from the desire to give form to the intangible, and often invisible, through symbolism.
I do this by exploring painting and printmaking, investigating the ways in which different materials enter into dialogue.
I delve into the myths of the past, seeking connections with the present.
One of the essential symbols and guiding threads throughout my work is the circle.
My work seeks to be a space where art becomes a means of connection.
